This one (1) day course is designed to build on the information taught in the Basic Designated Infection Control Officer Course. This course will allow attendees to problem solve program implementation as well as receive updates on the disease process, legal issues, and review various disease processes. Additional information will be provided on specific protection precautions and post-exposure care. Course will provide students with Category 1 and 2 continuing education credits for B.L.S. and A.L.S. Providers. Preregistration required with Fire and Rescue Department Office by Friday, March 9, 2018 through the Frederick County Fire and Rescue Department On-Line Registration System (train.fcfrd.com). Cost of the Advanced Designated Infection Control Officer is $150.00 (for personnel outside of Frederick County) to cover books and materials which must be received in full by the registration deadline. Registration is only confirmed after receipt of payment!
