The course provides the most efficient and cost-effective way to conduct the required O.S.H.A. training. Course content includes: adult education principles, review of the disease process, disease review (Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV, Syphilis, Tuberculosis, Chickenpox, Pertussis, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Influenza), exposure control plan components, workplace specific procedures, post-exposure protocols, and an extensive appendix of supportive data. Course will provide students with Category 1 and 2 continuing education credits for B.L.S. and A.L.S. Providers. Preregistration required with Fire and Rescue Department Office by Friday, March 9, 2018 through the Frederick County Fire and Rescue Department On-Line Registration System (train.fcfrd.com). Cost of the O.S.H.A. Bloodborne Pathogens, Airborne, and Droplet Diseases Train-The-Trainer Course is $150.00 (for personnel outside of Frederick County) to cover books and materials which must be received in full by the registration deadline. Registration is only confirmed after receipt of payment!
