This instructor course is for providers to teach American Heart Association Basic Life Support programs (Healthcare Provider, Heartsaver).   All candidates must complete the requirements listed below, and provide tuition fees ($400

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Register at the following website:  https://www.eventbrite.com/e/aha-basic-instructor-course-tickets-87453201881 
2. Completed the Instructor Candidate Application. (Email application to address below, or drop off at the Fire and Rescue Office during normal business hours).
3. Be accepted by an AHA Training Center (TC) before enrolling in an Instructor Essentials Course (which is included with tuition).
4. Have a current AHA BLS Provider card and be proficient in all of the skills associated with the course.
5. Successfully complete the Instructor Essentials Course, both online and practical skills.
6. Be monitored as an instructor within six (6) months of the completion of the Instructor course.
