This National Fire Academy Course is designed to provide the Company Officer with the basic leadership skills and tools to perform effectively in the fire and rescue service environment. This course includes techniques and approaches to engage in multiple interpersonal communications, learning to prioritize role relationships, and managing many demands from both inside and outside of the fire and rescue service. Preregistration required with Fire and Rescue Department Office by Friday, June 3, 2016 through the Frederick County Fire and Rescue Department On-Line Registration System (train.fcfrd.com)! The cost of the Leadership I Course is $20.00 to cover books, materials, and printing which must be received in full by the registration deadline. Registration is only confirmed after receipt of payment!
