Frederick County's GIS and Planning departments maintain several interactive mapping applications.

*GIS applications will be unavailable between 5:00 AM ET - 7:00 AM ET daily for data maintenance*

Frederick County Tax Map		Comprehensive interactive mapping of Frederick County. See "Information" widget in top right hand corner of application for in-app help.
Planning Access Terminal		View Planning information such as Zoning, Land Use, Planning Applications, as well as property information and Frederick County imagery.
Transportation Projects Story Map		Story map application showing the current transportation projects within the County. Projects will be updated accordingly.
Recent Transportation Achievements		Story map application highlighting recently completed transportation projects within the County. Projects will be updated accordingly.
2022-2027 Capital Improvement Plan		Story map showing a prioritized list of capital projects requested by various County departments and agencies. This was created as an information component of The Comprehensive Plan approved by the Board of Supervisors on April 27, 2022.
Flood Zone Change Viewer		Application used to display changes in flood zone boundaries. Data presented in application was produced by FEMA. Effective date January 29, 2021. For questions concerning boundaries please contact FEMA.
Stephens City Tax Map		Comprehensive interactive mapping of Stephens City. See "Information" widget in top right hand corner of application for in-app help.
The Comprehensive Plan Story Map		Story map application highlighting The Comprehensive Plan, which addresses the future of Frederick County. The Plan was adopted by the Board of Supervisors on November 10, 2021.
The Comprehensive Plan - Appendix I Story Map		Story map application showing the County's ten (10) Area Plans. Adopted by the Board of Supervisors on November 10, 2021, this application also includes key land use planning documents and geographic areas of the County.
The Comprehensive Plan - Appendix II Story Map		Story map application providing background analysis and studies in support of The Plan. Appendix II was approved by the Board of Supervisors on November 10, 2021.
2020-2025 Agricultural and Forestal Districts Story Map		Story map showing the 2020-2025 Agricultural and Forestal Districts. Districts are renewed every five (5) years, with 2025 being the next renewal period. The 2020-2025 Districts were approved by the Board of Supervisors on September 9, 2020.
Land Preservation Story Map		Story map showing Land Preservation tracts in Frederick County broken down by agency. Data is provided by the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation's Office of Land Conservation, as well as Frederick County. Data is current as of September 2024.
