Cancellation & Closure Status

Get real-time updates for Frederick County Parks and Recreation athletic fields and community centers cancellations & closures. Facility/program status is updated at 3:30 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. on weekends. All sites are reviewed daily for possible status changes; however, they are only updated in the system when the status changes.

Example: If a site was open yesterday and remains open today, the status will not be updated in the system, meaning that the status will now reflect "updated two days ago."

View the status of a facility or program below, by downloading the Statusfy app (search Frederick County Parks and Recreation, VA), or by calling 540-665-5678, option 3.

The preferred method would be the Statusfy app.  When clicking the notification bell for any/all fields or programs, notifications will be pushed out immediately upon closure or cancellation.
