The Honor Guard is a group of highly motivated and dedicated deputies throughout the Sheriff’s Office. The members of the team come from all divisions within the Sheriff’s Office. The team is charged with representing the Sheriff’s Office in public events throughout the county and throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. This team participates in parades and other community events when requested. The team also has the honor of showing final respects to fallen officers from any department across the United States. Members of the team are highly trained to represent the department with Honor and Integrity on every event they participate in. Members of the team are trained in marching, proper flag handling and folding, and synchronized rifle movements to name a few.
The members participate in community events throughout Frederick County to present colors at opening ceremonies. If you would like the Honor Guard to present flags at your next event please fill in the following request form.
