Can I be fingerprinted at the Sheriff's Office?

*Yes, if you are a Frederick County resident.

Where and what times is fingerprinting available?

*Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 3:30 pm at the Frederick County Sheriff's Office located at 1080 Coverstone Dr., Winchester, VA 22602. 

Live Scan is available at the Frederick County Courthouse, please call the courthouse for further information.  

What do I need to bring with me?

*Two valid forms of identification are required as listed in the Virginia State Police Fingerprinting For Non Criminal Purposes.

*One must be selected from the approved Photo Identification listing in the guide.

*Only original documentation are accepted; NO photocopies are allowed.

*Fingerprint cardFD258, printed on card stock

How much does it cost?

*Only Frederick County residents can be printed, there is no charge.
