The goal of our Smoke Alarm Program is to ensure all homes in Frederick County are protected by working smoke alarms. If smoke alarms are needed at your home or if you need assistance with testing, installing a smoke alarm, or battery replacement please complete this form. Free smoke alarms are available for homeowners who cannot financially afford to purchase them on their own. Once the Smoke Alarm Request form has been submitted, you will receive a phone call to schedule a date and time for your request to be completed. The smoke alarm(s) and batteries are installed by Fire & Rescue Department personnel.
